The emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) provided students with a deeper understanding of social psychology and the importance of inclusive workplaces. A hands-on workshop on Data Analytics & Visualization introduced them to Power BI and data storytelling, enhancing their analytical and decision-making skills. Additionally, students visited key locations such as the Singapore City Gallery, Science Centre, and JCU’s Aquaculture Lab, offering valuable insights into urban planning, technological advancements, and sustainable ecosystems.
The program also included Design Thinking & Business Strategy workshops, encouraging students to apply innovative problem-solving frameworks. It concluded with a Final Project & Presentations, where teams tackled real-world leadership and business challenges, with the best teams receiving special recognition for their innovative solutions.
Beyond academic learning, the program enabled students to develop a global mindset and gain exposure to international business practices. It strengthened their ability to communicate across cultures, adapt to different professional environments, and expand their networks with global faculty, students, and industry professionals.
Building on this success, IIM Shillong aims to expand its international collaborations, offering more tailored study-abroad opportunities and fostering student exchange and research partnerships. The institute is committed to equipping its students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in an increasingly interconnected world.
International exposure plays a crucial role in shaping future business leaders, and IIM Shillong remains dedicated to providing its students with the best global learning experiences.
