The admission process begins either in the last week of January or the first week of February each year, subject to change depending on contingencies.
The Institute offers a Two-Year Full Time Post Graduate Programme (PGP) leading to Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
The application for PGP is through CAT. The candidate has to mention the Institutes and Program they wish to apply while filling the CAT application form. If selected after the admission process, the candidate will be required to pay the acceptance fee and Term fee which will be informed to the candidates.
Our participants have been eligible for and have availed collateral-free educational loans from banks, which the banks extend to premier institutions. Educational loans cover amounts as per the course’s fee structure, with an insurance guarantee. Such loans get sanctioned within 20 Working days, and is a hassle-free process. The interest rate on education loans is significantly lower for students as per RBI mandate and bank procedure.
IIM Shillong has instituted a ‘Need Based Financial Assistance Scheme’ to help the economically weak PGP participants. The number of awardees and quantum of assistance is decided on the basis of annual gross family income, participant’s liquidity, need and her/his overall suitability for the same.
Government Scholarships for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) participants are also available which cover the entire tuition fee and other non-refundable charges.
The PGP program is fully residential, and students have to mandatorily stay in the Institute hostels.
Students have the choice to participate in international exchange and study abroad programs. It is not mandatory.
International Immersion fee is not included in the PGP program fees and will be charged based on actuals. The indicative International Immersion fee is around 7-8 lacs (will vary depending on the country and partner Institute rules).
The number of electives varies each year. The electives chosen will depend on the interests of the student and required credits.
