The PGP Admission process/interviews for 2021-23 batch is closed. The result will be declared by mid May 2021. All candidates shortlisted and waitlisted for admission to PGTo apply for admission to the Master in Business Administration (MBA) a candidate must qualify the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Managements. The details of the CAT can be found at www.iimcat.ac.in

Overseas candidates may apply to the program quoting valid GMAT scores too.P 2021-23 will be communicated through email and they can download their offer letters/WL letters from admission dashboard.

IIM Shillong PGP 2020-22 Admission

Eligibility to apply

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA)].
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience after completion of the bachelor degree will be considered.
  • Candidates with and without CAT/GMAT scores are welcome. Candidates with CAT/GMAT score will be exempted from written eligibility test.

MBA (WE) 2021 Admission Process

The admission process to the MBA (WE) programme of IIM Shillong will be a two round one with the following schedule:

All candidates are required to fill in the online application form using the link available on the Institute’s website. The application fee and the completed form must be submitted within the date mentioned for that round of admission. The application fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable. An applicant can apply for any one round only.

Candidates will be shortlisted for Executive Assessment Centre EAC Phase. Candidates with CAT (last 2 years) score or GMAT (exam taken within last 36 months) score will be exempted from written eligibility test. Selection at IIM Shillong is always a function of the candidates’ overall rank and the number of seats available for the program and other relevant parameters. Institute follows the Government of India policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions, as applicable.

Mode of Payment of Application Fee

The Application Fee for MBA(WE) 2021 (Rs 3500 for Indian applicants and USD100 for overseas applicants till 04 Nov 2020) should be paid via online transfer/NEFT/similar mode in the below mentioned Bank account. UTR/transaction reference number and date need to be provided in the application form and the challan/receipt to be uploaded in the dashboard while submitting the online form. Program Fee

The fee for the current batch of MBA(WE) program is Rupees Ten Lacs, payable over the program period.

Reservation Policy

The Institute abides by the reservation policy as per the Government of India provisions as applicable on IIM Shillong.

Important

+Note 1: The last date for submission of online application form and payment of application processing fee is 04 November 2020 for ROUND ONE and 01 February 2021 for ROUND TWO. However, applicants are requested to apply much before, without waiting till last moment, in order to avoid any unforeseen technical glitch; for which IIM Shillong will not be responsible.

+Note 2: All the candidates shortlisted for Executive Assessment Centre EAC Phase, and whose graduation scores are given as CGPA in their respective mark sheets, must bring the certificates at the time of EAC Phase from the competent authority of their University/Institution stating either of the following:

  • The conversion formula certified by the University/Institution for converting the CGPA into corresponding percentage of marks.
  • The absence of any conversion formula certified by the University/Institution for converting the CGPA into corresponding percentage of marks. (In such cases, the percentage marks would be calculated as CGPA*100/CGPA Scale).

 

+Note 3: Exact details of the Venue and Date for the Executive Assessment Centre EAC@IIM Shillong will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates separately.

+Executive Assessment Centre EAC@IIM Shillong will be conducted through online mode for overseas applicants. IIM Shillong, at its own discretion, may conduct the Executive Assessment Centre through online mode for domestic participants as well.

Any dispute concerning Admissions to MBA (WE) 2021 Program would be subject to jurisdiction of the competent courts only.
